Course Overview

Brief Background introduction
SRI LALITA PANCHARATNAM

"Lalita Pancharatnam" is a wonderful sadhana perspective samskrita composition in praise of:
Shiva-Shakti Swaroopini Sri Sri Sri Lalita Tripurasundari who is the Divine Mother, The Creator of creators , The Sustainer of the sustaining power of the worlds
and The Destroyer of the destroyers , the primordial energy : The Para-Shakti the universal
consciousness constituting ichha shakti – jnana shakti – kriya shakti : with whose grace and blessings  the journey of the Saadhak becomes possible from realization to liberation , transgressing from  material world to transcendental moksha sthithi to Turiya sthitthi and ultimately the turiyaateeta sthithi immersing the Saadhak to becoming One with The “Sat-Chit-Ananda” Swaroopam into Herself  into Shiva-Shaktaika Swaroopam :the source ‘the-Bindu’ of Universal Absoluteness.

"Lalita Pancharatnam" when memorized and practiced daily helps the Saadhak to easily have darshan of
Mother Sri Lalitaparabhattarika as a part of daily Meditation Saadhana and  pooja
offerings . The Saadhak can be in this state of awareness and can experiencethe- Bliss’ in all his / her surroundings very easily , even when the Saadhak is engaged in his/her daily materialistically  ritualistic mundane activities.

"Lalita Pancharatnam" was composed by Jagat Guru Sri Adi Shankaracharya, who lived in the early 8th century CE. The verses are filled with rich poetic visual imagery and devotion, praising the goddess  as the embodiment of beauty, compassion, and supreme divinity.

Jagat Guru Sri Adi Shankaracharya , being an Acharya with Love and Compassion towards the Saadhakas in specific and towards all humanity in general , has simplified and given us a wonderful ambrosial hymn for daily saadana that forms ‘the saadana jewel ’ when practiced daily in just 5 verses hence called Lalita Pancharatnam , sometimes also referred as Lalita Panchakam

These five verses,in Samskritam, each invoking specific energies in the Saadhak with different aspects and qualities of Sri Lalitaparabhattarika.
